The Uniform CPA Examination is a professional licensing examination used by all state accountancy boards to ensure applicants possess the minimum accounting/technical knowledge needed to enter the CPA profession and protects the public interest by ensuring that only qualified individuals become licensed as CPAs.

The following requirements must be met to be eligible to take the CPA exam in Virginia

all CPA exam applicants must provide a United States Social Security Number (SSN) or control number issued by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Applicants without a U.S. SSN or control number issued by the Virginia DMV are not eligible to sit for the CPA exam in Virginia. 需要SSN或DMV

Minimum of 24 semester hours of accounting courses, to include: courses in auditing, financial accounting, management accounting, and taxation 24個(gè)會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)分，必須包含課程審計(jì)，財(cái)務(wù)會(huì)計(jì)，管理會(huì)計(jì)以及稅法。

Minimum of 24 semester hours of business courses. As many as 6 hours of accounting courses (not included in the 24 hours of accounting courses) may be considered for the business course requirement 24個(gè)商業(yè)學(xué)分，超過24個(gè)會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)分的6個(gè)會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)分可算作商業(yè)學(xué)分。

注意：會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)原理不能算作學(xué)分。
